Shabbat and Youth Programming

Babysitting

Babysitting (for ages 1-8) is available in the house for all morning services.

Children under the age of 9 must be in groups or with their parents at all times. We are on a beautiful site with 6.4 acres and a pond. Young children should not be allowed to wander around without parental supervision. We have a great playground set which may be used at any time with appropriate supervision.

Tefillat HaYeladim

Children's tefillah is an important part of our congregational life. Every Shabbat after the second aliyah, children ages 3-11 are gathered to participate in one of two groups for prayers followed by games and other activities related to the weekly parasha.

10:00-11:15: Tefillah, Learning, and Games for:
AGES 3-6 Led by Emma Schneider - in the house
AGES 7-11 Elyssa Golschmiedt and Chana Wolfson - in the board room

Shabbat Afternoon Youth Groups

In the warmer weather months, Rabbi Goldschmeidt runs Shabbat afternoon youth groups for children in grades 3-6.   All  are encouraged to participate in mincha services followed by fun programming and snacks at the shul.
